Solve your shedding cat problem with the Furminator.

As we all know, this summer has been extraordinarily hot and my cats totally agree with us all that it was too hot at times. This extreme heat however, had an additional side affect for my cats and caused them to shed in what seemed excessive amounts. This shedding then led to hairballs. Since my cats are both inside cats, I’m sure you can see why hairballs are something that I don’t want them to have.

In the quest to fight hairballs I’ve tried special food as well as the hairball gel. But my cats, being the finicky cats that they are, wouldn’t eat it. So it seemed I was stuck. Until! I went to the Orscheln Farm & Home store to get their cat food (Science Diet Indoor) and saw a video of the FURminator playing.
The FURminator video said that it would reach below the top coat to remove loose undercoat and would reduce shedding by up to 90%. I could see that a reduction in shedding and loose hair would aid in my quest to be rid of hairballs, so I purchased the tool with high hopes. (if you watch the video below till the end it shows them using it on a cat)
The FURminator did live up to its claim of reducing shedding, and with less loose hair during grooming; my cat’s hairballs are now few and far between. One cat seems to love being brushed with the FURminator and the other one is ok with it. As for me; I love the results!!!
