Before skin-tight, fancy printed leggings, there was simply denim. Whether they’re for work or play, denim was, is, and always will be a staple of American society. In fact, it just may be the one fabric that has suited every single demographic since its rugged beginnings. There is a bit of controversy and confusion surrounding the European origin of “denim” and “jean” fabric, dating as far back as the 16th century.
